And I can't wait to capture yours
Each story is so unique
I feel photography and travel always go pretty hand in hand; taking pictures to capture memories of places we've been and the things we've experienced. Combining these two passions into a career really is a dream come true.
Growing up my mom always had a camera around so I've had my fair share of getting acquainted with a camera. It wasn't until I went to remote areas of Peru with my professor and a team of scientists to do field work that my initial interest growing up was ignited to what it is today.
"i've pretty much grown up with a camera in my hand"
My first taste at portrait photography was an engagement session for my best friend. That was a pivotal moment in my career where I learned that I love capturing love stories.
I like to consider myself a hopeful romantic. I know it's cheesy, but I love love.
Your story is so unique and deserves to be captured in such a way.
The first thing I did when I got home from that trip to Peru was hop on Amazon and buy my own camera. The rest was history.
Over the years I've increased my knowledge and skill set by taking photos of EVERYTHING and constantly practicing. I've been to several workshops to hone my skills and I work under other photographers to learn what they know and to learn different ways of doing things.
building the skills
here we are today
Every story deserves to be told. And my goal is to tell it in the everyday moments, the seemingly unimportant glances and expressions, to piece together your story by finding beauty and joy in the everyday (especially your big day).
Every photo session is an adventure. The gardens could close early, the weather could change. But you can trust that no matter what happens we will get through it together.
My friends and I have a saying, "do it for the plot." So don't let the rain get you down, do it for the plot: dance in the rain and make your story an adventure. Together we will capture your vision of the day and how the world (through my lens) sees your love.
